November 2012

Enjoying baby time Nov. 1st.

When Grandpa Kerry and Grandma  Carol came to see the baby, Grandma put on her dentist hat and pulled Lia's tooth out....hooray for tooth fairy money.

 Quincy's first bath.

Ashlyn got to open her birthday presents from Grandma and Grandpa a night early so Grandpa could be there to watch before he left early the next morning.
Playmobile playground!!

It was so nice to finally feel well that I could hardly sit still.  I started redoing some nursery furniture!

birthday pancake!

a few presents before dad leaves for work.

Ashlyn asked for a rubber ducky for her birthday!
When we asked her to show us what she got she'd hold it right in front of her face every time.

Showing Quincy her presents.

 Making treat bags for preschool.

Birthday hat made for Ashlyn at preschool.

Last presents of the day.

A little birthday tantrum.

Ellia has been such a big help holding Quincy while I get things done around the house.
Our growing family!

Ashlyn chose to have her 3rd birthday party at Chuck E Cheese.  We held in on the 9th, just a week after Quincy was born. Good thing my mom was there to watch over her while I hosted the party.  Ashlyn wasn't as excited to be there as usual...maybe she didn't like all the attention.

Showing off her presents in the typical fashion.
Ellia got to invite a friend too, and she had such a blast playing with Brooklyn.

When Jeremy was at Young Mens me and my mom dressed the girls up and tried hosting an at-home photo shoot.

Quincy cooperated by herself but when we got the three of them together it was chaos.  They kept fighting over who got to be closer to her and of course they wouldn't all look or smile at the same time.

that is one dirty look from Ashlyn
The whole thing wore Quincy out.

but it wasn't a long nap and we tried another pose....with similar outcomes.

Once we took Quincy out of the picture we all got into a giggle fit.

Ellia can count to 100!

It is always amazing to me how tiny babies are.  They can just curl up on my chest taking up hardly any space at all.

All wrapped up cozy in the blanket Grandma Carol made.
Ashlyn looked so cute in this outfit I wanted to take a picture...I had several missed attempts and this was the best I could get.
A birthday party Ellia and I went to for her classmate Sarah.

At Ellia's school they had a Thanksgiving celebration and it impressed Ellia so much she came home and taped feathers to all their dolls.

Ashlyn doesn't last as long as Ellia holding Quincy but she still likes to take her turn.
Her halloween hat from preschool. She loved this thing and wore it all the time for a few days.

With baby comes baby stuff...just try keeping the girls off everything.  This was their new favorite way to watch a show.

Ashlyn gets to feed Quincy one of her first bottles (and eat breakfast at the same time...running a little late this day!)

Ellia also got a pilgrim outfit that was so clever, but it was hard getting her to pose for a picture.

A typical finding for me.  Only I didn't get the camera fast enough, she is actually on her way DOWN.
One more birthday celebration for Ashlyn as she get so share it with Grandma Laura and Grandpa Jeff.

This is a really cute shirt, but what does she hold up for the picture?  The tag.

Thanksgiving dinner...very similar to the one we had exactly three years ago after Ashlyn was born.
First shower.

A little photo shoot to get ready for Christmas.
