February 2011

Early this month, Amanda and I took the kids on a firestation tour with the NOR preschool.

We also put the older girls in dance together...once a week they enjoy a little ballet and some tap dancing.

Sunset from our backyard...guess pollution can be good for one thing!First pigtails...too bad she wasn't in the mood for pictures.

Ah, much better!
We donned our holiday apparel for a Valentine exchange and play date at the park. You wouldn't believe the trouble I went through to get these girls to be in the same spot at once and look at the camera...I guess it paid off though.

Enjoying Cupid's gifts.
Once night while I was babysitting Brooklyn, they wanted to play dress up. Well the next thing I know Ellia is putting all the play jewelry on Brooklyn, it was so cute!

Of course Ashlyn tried to be like the big girls too, she only managed a necklace though.

Mid-February we drove to Vegas to visit Jer's family and watch Gunner play some baseball. He got to play in this cool facility where they replicated some of the most famous ball fields in the country.

Oh, and the weather was amazing!

So we took on our bigggest home update project to date, one we've been aniticpating since we moved in...the kitchen.

DONE!

Someone (Mia) once said my girls never had bad hair days...proof positive that they do!
I got myself a little present this month and the girls really enjoyed the box A new chair!
Ok, so Ellia like it too
I also FINALLY made the shelf for Ellia's stuffed animals that I have been meaning to.

Also this month: Jer and I went to shoguns for v-day dinner on sat 12th. It's one of those places where they cook your food in front of you, it was fun and memorable, but not as exciting as the time we went with Jer's friends and Jared spilled his BOILING hot onion soup all over me...and screamed in agony at the few drops that landed on him.
