March 2011

So here are some before and after pictures of our cabinets. We restained them a little darker and bought the hardware for each drawer and cupboard. We started in January and made some quick progress then slowed down, and finally did the last two cupboard doors this month. This is what happens if Ihave to take the bumpers off to wash.

Time for the new carpet. Bye bye

Two new floors, how nice!

Sara and Tom brought the boys out for a visit in the middle of one of Tom's business trips. After Legoland they stayed a few days with us. The first place we visited was the Kern County Museum, partly because they had a groupon for it that both Sara and I were able to get, and partly because Jer and I have never been to the oil museum there.

After the oil museum portion we headed to the kids discovery zone Ashlyn enjoyed the school room, I think because she could draw with the chalk

Sara's favorite part was the gurney in the ambulance - ok, not gonna lie, after the picture I joined her on the other gurney

Ellia liked the dressups

Playing back at home, we had a BBQ with a TON of food, and opened some of Jer's B-day presents. A tent, a Little Tikes basketball hoop, and tickets to a Clippers game.

T-ball with a big 2x2 since the bat got broken.

Sunday after church picnic

Jer coached the Young Men in the stake soccer tournament this month.

On Jer's birthday I sent him an email at work saying that we had a room in Fresno. He's been saying he wanted to go to the temple there so I made a night out of it.

Then, on March 26th, it was the Clippers Game. We've been wanting to go to the Staples Center so this was fun!

Lastly, BYU basketball made it to the sweet 16 so we invited the Tramels over to have breakfast for dinner with us and watch the game...too bad they lost.
