September 2013

Our first canoeing adventures...Quincy was a little unsure.

Luckily she found the perfect spot to relax.
and I mean really relax!

So Beautiful!!  However, we only spotted one little gator.
Our next trip down a different Bayou, this one was a little more open.
The bathroom is coming along!  LOVE the paint.
Ashlyn's first day at Tiny Tumblers Preschool.

Love her little monogramed bag. (People monogram everything here)
Finally got her a high chair...can you tell she likes it?
Just a plain ordinary grilled cheese sandwich dinner that Jeremy made way more exciting.
Ah, just chillin with bottle and phone....what could be better?

and that's how it's done folks.

a few late birthday arrivals from Ginger....Ellia is in heaven.
sisters playing

Get this off me mom!

Back to School night in Ellia's Kindergarten classroom. There are only 16 kids in her class...LOVE IT!

Experimenting with new foods.

She loves black beans!
Picture Day!

Quincy really wants to be like her big sisters, she gets their school bags, puts them over her head and drags them all over the place.

Mad that I took it away because it was choking her.
She finds another bag!
Yes, really.
Ha Ha mom, I got the bag again.
Our first LSU game.  We were fortunate that our neighbors went to the same game and they know the lay of the land...they guided us through some of the fun pre game events.  The team and band marching down the hill.

It was alumni band night.

Quincy's first family bike ride.

She's a little unsure of her helmet.

and of everyone else's helmet as well.

Finally got the missing piece to Quincy's nursery, I can't wait to have it "monogramed"!
Makayla and Ellia, really depend on each other!

Load em up!  Six girls under 6 and two mammas, out to see some horses and have dinner at Chik-Fil-A!

They made their beds!

Kleibert's Turtle and Alligator farm.  The girls and I had visited before when Jami came out, but we wanted to take Jeremy there.

Last time they let us sit on the gator but the pictures didn't really turn out so I wanted to try again....much harder this time.

Trying to be brave around snakes.
Just relaxing.
A torrential downpour.  I jumped in the car from the front door...it's about five feet - so I could pick Ellia up from the bus stop and not wait in the rain, and I got SOAKED. Then of course by the time the bus came it wasn't raining.
Bring someone special to lunch day.
Ellia really liked showing us the playground tricks.  She also told us in the lunch line when she took the lettuce, "you have to put it on your plate, but you don't have to eat it."

Standing!

Ashlyn sporting a Build A Bear skirt.
Breakfast dinner with friends!
Ethan from Kindergarten's birthday party...it took Ellia a long time to warm up to the big slide, but then of course she had a blast and didn't want to leave.

Mirror on Jeremy's side, done!
Getting tricky...standing while eating.
Another Ottoman Makeover.
Ashlyn modeling a skirt for me...she was being so cute and fun.

Keibert's. He got in the water with this 14 foot alligator, crazy.

We managed to get the decorations for Halloween down BEFORE October even started!  Of course the girls loved it.
