After we got Brody's diagnosis Jeremy flew out to spend some time with us. My mom treated us to an overnight stay in Park City. We had a nice dinner and rented a movie to watch. I was pretty emotional most of the time we still had fun. We also went to the Utah Olympic Park which neither of us had been to even though its so close. We got to see some young talent too.
We went to see Alexis blessed then took a family picture and celebrated Ellia's birthday since Jeremy was heading back to Houston the next day. Laura had asked her some questions and it was fun listening to all her answers. She also got some great gifts including a fun new watch, mermaid tail and roller shoes.
Quincy played with chalk on Grandma Laura's porch...and all over her face.
Brody man, not feeling great, but look at him balance that binkie!
When we got to Grandma Carol's later that night Quincy took some time to enjoy the quiet outdoors. I am so glad I got pictures of her watering the flowers, she has really enjoyed that this summer.
Hansen's came over and Anna was brave enough to play wet head with Ellia. I think she got more wet than anyone else playing.
On the third my moms neighbors did some impressive fireworks in the street. While I am definitely experiencing a lot of stress I didn't know it would exhibit in the form of being feeling so affected by the noise and proximity of the explosions. I have never jumped as much or been so anxious watching as I was this year.

This is one of my favorite pictures. When Brody was sad all he needed was to be touched to calm down.
