September 2014

Girls dressing in matching outfits to go for a morning "bike ride / run" with dad.

Ellia is also helping Ashlyn tie her shirt at the corner, 80s style!  Love when they get along like this.
Ashlyn lost another tooth!

First day of Tiny Tumblers Preschool! Without any front teeth!  She was so excited when we went to register and she got to show them that her FIRST tooth was missing...now this!

I'm always a little surprised to see these elegant birds (egrets) hanging out in little ditches along the roads.
Perfect.
Caught Ellia sharing her ice cream with Quincy after the Ward Variety show.

Umbrellas, just because.

Dress Up!

Rub a dub dub, three girls in the tub.

Bike ride.

Bowling always seems like it will be such a fun activity.  It's a lot of work with little ones! Still fun though.

Ashlyn was helping clean one day and her job was the mirror. I told her the windex wipe did not need any more water on it, but when I returned the mirror was soaked.  a second later I came back and this was the solution she came up with.

Another tooth bites the dust.

Baby toes.
Getting ready to cook up some yummy fall treats.

Looked over while I was running on the treadmill and caught her mesmerized in my movie...with her sisters tap shoes on. She just looked so sweet to me in that moment.
Ashlyn was invited to Hannah's 4th birthday...an Elsa party!  Ellia had been a bit sick so she didn't join in, but Ashlyn wanted to make sure we took plenty of pictures to show Ellia everything.

Tailgating at the LSU game with Dad.

They were lucky to go on one of the best weather nights ever.

They even walked down to see our neighbor Brennan do some cheers.

Quincy being a big helper while I was working at Kiddo's Closet Consignment. She was getting along great with Anna Kate and Heidi.

A little play date at a gym just her size.

Still shocked by the storms here. These are the rain gutters coming off K-Mart after only about ten minutes of downpour.
Just love her sweet face and that gorgeous hair.

Library play date. The cooler weather makes me feel so empowered, like I can GO places!  We have been having such a fun month.

This year Quincy won the Betty Westenskow quilt...with iron on picture transfers drawn by all the cousins!  We were all really excited to get it, and the girls spend time looking over all the pictures and names each time its cool enough to get it out.

Quincy helping me shop for dad's new shoes.  It's a good thing they aren't any bigger!
A perfect day for a play date at the park, just the two of us.
She even knew she had to stand straddled on this apparatus so she wouldn't fall when it swayed back and forth.
She was a little leery of this "slide" at first but after her first time down it quickly became her first choice. I got a movie of her bouncing down and giggling all the way!
Jeremy at one of his Youth activities.

Picture Day (I guess I must have gotten it wrong when I captioned a few other pictures as picture day last month...oops)

Check.  I made Ashlyn's pink pillow.
Another birthday party for Ashlyn.  A princess party with every princess you could think of!  She found her friend Rylan in the mix and they were holding hands...not like Ashlyn so it was super cute to see.
Sister love.

While we were at the party, Dad took Ellia to her school watershed fair.  He said it was pretty neat and she came back excited to plant some seeds and other things.

A beautiful evening on the lakefront.

I love this picture because Ellia was bending down to pose by Quincy, but then Quincy bent down too!

Big jump!

I love the houses in this part of town, especially along the lakefront.

Reading bedtime stories.
Another beautiful day, this one we spent at the lakefront beach with a friend. SO PERFECT, makes life great when the weather feels like this.
My girls are obsessed with my luggage décor.
A little pretend picnic while Quincy naps.

Playing shopping. Stroller, purse and books.

Quincy is getting pretty good at scooter riding.

Covington high school football game. We went to watch some youth in the band.  Come to find out it was Homecoming so we watched them name the winners and didn't get to see much from the band. Boo. The bands down here are so entertaining.

We had thought about taking the family to the LSU game the next night, but Quincy gave us a wake up call at this game...she is NOT ready for that.

I wish I could have gotten a closer picture of the homecoming queen nominees. They were all dressed in fancy hats and blazers and gloves.

Getting our LSU spirit on before the game, even though Quincy and I stayed behind.

There she goes bending down again!

Cute picture daddy captured for our little Quincy. (these are actually her two favorite pairs of shoes so we have to keep them up high or she would try to put them on every single day.)
Trying on Maxi Skirts.

Ellia is getting to be quite the reader.

Ashlyn attends yet another birthday party!  Four must be the age for friend parties!

While I was out one night I gave the girls and Jeremy the job of decorating for Halloween. I had pictures to show them how it had been last year.  That was the best idea EVER even if they did play with the décor a bit first.

Apparently they need some privacy.
