Jeremy took the scouts on a survival campout to earn a wilderness survival badge. They were only allowed to take the clothes they were wearing and one blanket. They took some chickens to prepare for food, made their own shelter and the works.
They also shot some rabbits.
Meanwhile, the girls and I waiting for dad to get home so we could go to Talledega Frights. They had bounce houses, a hay ride, pumpkin patch and corn maze. Jeremy was all up for the corn maze and I was sure we'd get lost, but he must've learned something at that survival campout because we went from head to toe of the scarecrow design.
The first chance we had to dress up the kids was for the Ward Trunk or Treat which was held at the Almond Farns this year and was as always SO fun!
Ashlyn wasn't as excited to be getting her hair all gussy'd up.
She also vehemently refused the boots...I held her down.
We found her twin, Will the Superbabe at the party...they are just a few months apart so it was cute seeing them dressed alike.
The hay ride through the orchards...awesome.
Another princess.
Ellia and her best friends Brooklyn were both Rapunzel, or Tangled as we call her.
Pumpkin time - as Ashlyn calls it.
She really likes to 'color' right now and we are struggling with the appropriate things to color...she enjoys putting things on her face.
The is the pumpkin and face Lia picked out.
Lia's, Dad's, Mom's
Our pineapple tree finally has a resident.
We had TONS of candy...and guess how long it lasted? About two days. Happy Halloween!
