The second week we had Ashlyn home we were ready to get out a bit. We took a drive to the mountains for a short hike. We also stopped at an apple farm to taste some of their best stuff and take home some of the freshest apples.
We decided to decorate for Christmas a little early so our Thanksgiving guests could enjoy the decor AND so we could enjoy it a little longer since we were headed to Utah for two weeks during Christmastime. Ellia was a big help with the tree but she kept taking down all the doll like decorations and strapping them in Ashlyn's car seat. 
She also tried on the Santa glasses and read Rudolph a Christmas Story. It was such a joy having her help, we were busy with the details and every time we turned around she was doing something so fun that we would have to laugh and find the camera!
We had lot's of visitors this week to welcome Ashlyn, my friend brought us over this adorable cake that she had made! It tasted SO good too!
Before we knew it, Thanksgiving was upon us and Jeremy's family came to stay and celebrate with us.
He also got to go fishing with his brothers and sisters (and spouses) so that was a real treat for him.

Ashlyn is so cute, she looks like you stef. your house looks darling! 2 Weeks after I broght Emmett home I was a zombie, can't imagine being ready for a hike! :)
