Getting cuddles from the girls
Lia was requesting her picture taken on her bike.
Ash models me so well!
Dad let Lia use his back to write on so the girls thought that was really fun. Ashlyn first tried using Lia's back...
then tried using her own back.

I bought this and a matching dress for Easter pictures, but Ellia REFUSED to wear it. I thought it was so cute I had to at least snap a quick shot of my own before taking it back.
Sarah and Jordan came to stay overnight and we went to Buck Owens one night and just hung around the next day. The girls were so comfortable around them it was fun! In the midst of a talking laughing moment Ash looked right at Sarah and pointing asked, "do you like Ariel?"
We took a quick weekend trip to Yosemite where we met up with Jordan and Sarah. The first day was very rainy and Ash and I were exhausted so rested in the car while Dad and Lia had some adventures.

- but not necessarily happy.
It was so beautiful and felt like a crisp fall day. I really liked it.
The next morning though it was covered in beautiful fresh snow! It was really neat to see the overnight transformation of everything. Since we didn't have chains we spent a lot of time at the hotel, but there was a heated pool so the girls loved showing off their new swimming skills. Ellia can now swim underwater!
Back home it was time to celebrate Dad's birthday...this time I had some help with the cake decorating.
Ash and I were resting one day and I noticed it was very quiet so I went looking for Ellia. I didn't have to very far down the hall before I found her fast asleep in this nap spot she made herself and Annie.
Almost forgot! At the beginning of the month I put a group together to tour the Bakersfield Californian, the local newspaper. This is the scale
a huge roll of papers already printed.
the paper we saw being printed.
the last step of the process, you can see the tracks above where each individual paper goes where it needs to for packaging.
At the end of the month we did a sample music class!
